Union Lofts Apartments debuts in Downtown Augusta

Union Lofts Apartments held a ribbon cutting on April 2 at 513 James Brown Boulevard to celebrate the arrival of new living spaces in Downtown Augusta.

The event was free and open to the public.

The three buildings, located at 501, 509, and 513 James Brown Boulevard, were constructed in the 1890’s. Having been vacant for almost five decades, they were nearing being demolished.

According to a press release from the Downtown Development Authority, “Local Developer Brendon Steffes thoughtfully preserved and renovated them into 22 market-rate apartments with each unit having unique variations.”

Just a couple blocks from Downtown Augusta’s many shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, Union Lofts offers a combined sense of historic charm alongside modern amenities.

Union Lofts are now open and move-in ready.
