Earlier this year, the Columbia County Commission and the authority finalized a contract to issue up to $375 million in bonds to pay for construction. On Oct.19, authority members unanimously approved a supplemental resolution for the bonds. “So, the supplemental resolution you’ve got in front of you, it’s easy to look at the red line, the final amounts for the series A bonds, I keep saying bonds, but they

Review: ‘Caine Mutiny Court-Martial’ Shows How Not to Make an Old Story New

In one of 2023’s more bittersweet releases, the late Oscar-winning French Connection director helms a cast that includes the late Lance Reddick in a new adaptation of the iconic American story, written by the recently deceased Wouk. Indeed, the dead honoring the dead

A weekend with friends: How did we get so lucky?”

I spent this past weekend in rainy, chilly, South Bend, Ind. However, the weather did very little to spoil my enjoyment. While Notre Dame (ND) clearly played its best game of the season, routing the Trojans 48-20, that was only one of the highlights of my weekend. I was also able to spend the entire weekend with three close friends
