AU program prepares female students for business success

With help from ADP, Augusta University’s Hull College of Business has developed a training program designed to prepare female students for future business leadership roles. The College’s Women’s Leadership Academy is currently accepting applications for the 2022-2023 academic year. The deadline to apply is Saturday, April 30, and each participant receives a $1,000 scholarship. Simon Says: Gender pay gap continues, job choices and religion may play a role

The gender pay gap in the United States is about 19 percent, meaning women in full-time, year-round work earn 81 cents for every dollar men earn. In Georgia, the gap is slightly higher at 24.4 percent. The pay gap has decreased from about 40 percent in the 1950’s through the 1970’s.
