Tomorrow, about 30 CSRA businesses and non-profit organizations will serve as vendors for a local outdoor children’s event, and there’s still time for your business to participate. CSRA Kids, an online guide that provides resources and information about children’s activities, will host the second annual SummerFest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lions Memorial Field located at 619 West Buena Vista Ave. in North Augusta. There are no green jackets involved in the 2nd annual Birdies for Boobies golf tournament but for the breast cancer survivors who benefit from the money raised, it’s a crowning achievement, literally. The tournament is hosted by the Boobie Queen Company, a nonprofit founded by cancer survivor, Whitney O’Connor. CSRA school districts receive major donations from SRP

SRP Federal Credit Union was recently part of the local Board of Education meetings to present checks for money donated to each district as part of the High School Affinity School Debit Card Program last year. The Aiken County Public School district in Aiken, SC was awarded a check totaling $204,966.45, with nine schools participating in the program. Local foundation to host golf tournament for worthy cause

In 2017, Drew Passmore was a senior at Augusta Christian Schools when he died from injuries sustained in a car accident. Since 2018, with help from local businesses, a foundation Drew’s family established in his name provides financial assistance to CSRA high school seniors.
