Custom golf cart business opens in Evans

A new business in Evans gives customers the opportunity to build a custom golf cart or give their old cart a makeover. Kart King, 4158 Washington Road, Suite 11, celebrated its grand opening yesterday. For decades, people have brought their clothes to Silverstein’s Cleaners. New grocery store location to open tomorrow in south Augusta

Much of south Augusta is a food desert, but an international grocery store chain is launching a new location in that area that will help to alleviate the problem. ALDI will open its fifth CSRA store at 3121 Peach Orchard Road tomorrow, according to the company’s website. Local law group accepting nominations to help struggling families

Downtown restaurant to close permanently next week

In less than a week, downtown Augusta will lose one of its long-time restaurants.
