Growing up, I always loved looking at new homes. I can remember when I was 10 years old, we moved to Ft. Meade, Maryland. This is where my love for real estate started.
My family was and is still big on daydreaming! My parents would take my brother and I to wander through newly built communities and I would “envision” a life in one of these homes. Everywhere we lived from Maryland to Hawaii, with a brief stop through Colorado, led me to explore new construction and model homes.
The best thing about living here in Augusta is we are surrounded by growth and new homes. There really is an option for all budgets and just exploring the styles and quality of homes is fun even if you are not ready to commit. You can always start dreaming and preparing for the moment you are ready.
Today I wanted to spotlight a new community I just discovered, Tillery Park.
Ivey Homes is a long-time, well-established local builder specializing in developments that are well-managed and offer lots of customizable options to residents. They provide a great home-buying experience at very affordable prices and will pay some buyer closing costs or offer some upgrades when you choose one of their approved reputable, local lenders.
Ivey has brought some “Old Towne Charm” to their collection of floor plans exclusively being built in Tillery Park. These new plans are similar in design to Riverwood’s Mitchell Park and are reminiscent of Rainbow Row, a historic community in Charleston, SC. This is an exciting new community, unlike what we are familiar with.
This subdivision has been purposely designed to have rolling parks, sidewalks to stroll, tree-lined streets, a pool, a playground, and community meeting areas. The community amenities were designed to help encourage homeowners and families to enjoy all corners of the neighborhood.
Currently, there are about 15 homes on the ground ready for new families. These homes range from about 1,700 square feet to around 3,200 square feet, with options to customize your home and lot choices if you have time to wait. I’d expect it to take about 6 months from start to finish if you want to go that route.
Prices peak on Prominence Drive in the mid-400s but appear to start around 300K in the neighborhood.
You can find Tillery Park in Grovetown off of Baker Place Road, which can be found halfway down the road sandwiched between William Few Parkway and Wrightsboro Rd.
I expect this community to grow in desire through the years and hope you will consider stopping by to dream about your next big homeownership step!
