Big box flooring retailer to open CSRA location

A national retailer that sells and installs various types of flooring is bringing a new location to Augusta. Floor & Décor, which has more than 200 locations nationwide, is currently building a store at 110 Mason McKnight Junior Parkway, near Northern Tool + Equipment, CarMax, and other big box retailers. Like Home Depot and Lowe’s, Floor & Décor offers a variety of flooring options, including tile, stone, laminate, and vinyl. The Augusta Today Facebook page recently announced that the store is coming to Augusta, which was met with mixed reactions.

Local businesses partner with non-profit blood center to host drives

ATC Development, which owns and operates various apartment communities throughout the CSRA, recently hosted a blood drive for a non-profit donation center, according to Faith Meador. 2nd annual home show battles pricing/competition

More than 4,000 people attended last year’s CASA Home Show, but Blane Bailey is expecting an even bigger turnout this year.
