Local florist to relocate business in next few months

A popular downtown florist has announced he will relocate his business in late spring or early summer. Brent Slagle, owner of Flowers on Broad, will move his shop from its current location at 1018 Broad St. to 1030 Greene St. (see photo above story). Allen+Batchelor Construction, Inc. is relocating its operations from 1063 Franke Industrial Drive to 1118 Jones St., the former home of Simkins Seed Company (see photo above story) and a few doors away from Ubora Coffee Shop.
