Local spa and salon suddenly closes

Aqua Salon and Spa leased the far right end cap unit of this Davis Road plaza from 2020 until May 2021. The news today from Bruster’s Ice Cream store in Evans hit customer Patricia Newsome Price… well… like a Chocolate Mudslide of ice cream with chunks of toppings. She may take the owner up on his offer of a free scoop to enjoy one last cone at her favorite spot. She and hundreds of other Facebook friends responded with sadness to the news. 86 year-old Augusta car dealership set to close in near future

Johnson Cadillac has been a fixture in downtown Augusta since 1936 first on Telfair Street and then on Walton Way. Another day, another downtown Augusta building sold!

ABD reported that another downtown building, the former Antiques Marketplace on Broad Street sold recently for $575,000. That deal was brokered by Jordan Trotter Commercial Real Estate.
