A step closer to funding the new James Brown Arena

A bill to cover the cost to build a new James Brown Arena is making its way through the Georgia Legislature. More large-scale development headed to North Augusta

A more than 1,700-acre development is reportedly coming to the North Augusta area. Information surfaced with a post on the Twitter feed of Eureka Earth, an Augusta-based company specializing in “shared robotics and autonomous systems.” Its social media and website feature aerial photos, primarily of the Augusta National Golf Club and The Masters tournament. The tweet included a name for the development, Cypress Shoals, and a link to the developer’s website. Growing Augusta Regional Airport

A multi-million-dollar grant will be used in a project to reimagine the east end of the terminal building at Augusta Regional Airport. The airport has received a $3 million grant from the Airport Terminal Program, which is included in the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill.
