Local hairstylist opens salon to let blondes have more fun

As the saying goes, “Blondes have more fun.” Whitney Harrington enjoys giving her clients the chance to find that out for themselves. Harrington, a local licensed cosmetologist, plans to open TBH Salon in the next couple of weeks. Family tragedy leads to new healthy living business

A personal tragedy led Tonya Thomas to begin promoting healthy living and teaching others to do the same. New Evans pizza franchise to sell service by the slice

You may remember ordering a Big Mac from the former McDonald’s location in the Evans Walmart, but a new restaurant concept is scheduled to open in that store in the next two weeks, according to Chevie Green. Coffee giant to put the heat on nearby competitors

Look out Starbucks and Rooted, a new competitor is coming to Evans. Dunkin’ Donuts, which has several CSRA shops, including Wheeler, Washington and Furys Ferry Road, is building a new location just a block away from the Riverwood shopping center. The Patel family, which owns all the local Dunkin’ shops, is building the location in a new development called Eclipse at Riverwood. The Patels originally bought land in Riverwood, but they changed their mind because they didn’t want to be too close to three competitors: Rooted Coffeehouse, Starbucks and McDonald’s.
